Luxury Self Catering Accommodation near Aviemore, Scottish Highlands
We are only a couple of hours from Edinburgh and Glasgow and so much more accessible than many parts of the Scottish Highlands for a short or weekend break. Our luxury self catering accommodation has excellent facilities and you can book online at the click of your mouse. We have WiFi wireless internet and a full SKY package.

We are a pet friendly cottage and well behaved dogs and pets are welcome on the ground floor.
Truim Cottage is a No Smoking House. Thank you.
Bunkhouses in the Cairngorm and Strathspey area actually cost about the same as our large luxury holiday home if there are just 6 of you staying and the quality of lodgings cannot be compared. Any more than 6 people at Truim Cottage and our cottage is much cheaper than even a bunk house! Hotels B&Bs and Guest Houses in the Cairngorms National Park will always work out much more expensive than our accommodation even with just 3 or 4 people staying with us in Dalwhinnie. Added to this is the freedom you have with your own house where kids and pets can run free and hopefully you (like us over the years) will decide self catering is the best way to enjoy your Highland Holiday in the Cairngorm National Park.

Welcome to the Cairngorm National Park
...we were not disappointed as it was really well kitted out and all the fittings were brand new. It was really convenient for hill walking in the Cairngorm National Park and we also used the bikes to go mountain biking from Dalwhinnie itself. I thought the sauna was a lovely touch and so relaxing after a hectic day exploring. The nearby pub had a good variety of food and real ales and it was useful to have a pub so close to base. We would definitely return again in the future...

...excellent week in Dalwhinnie. The weather was ideal for winter sports in the Cairngorms... the cottage was well equipped and the log fire welcome after a day on the hills.
Margaret Milsom, Neath.
Thank you . We enjoyed the stay at the cottage and we will definitely be coming back for a longer stay.

Thanks for a wonderful stay in a superb house. As hill walkers it was nice to have the sauna and fire to come back to each night and the house really is dog and pet friendly, well done. We'll be back next year to explore more of the area on your mountain bikes.
Simon Miller.
Brilliant large holiday house, plenty of space and utilities for a large family or groups. It's nice to have a wood burning stove and also wireless internet all around the house.
The mountain bikes are in good condition and there are plenty of good rides in the area.
Dalwhinnie has a nice central location with the animal and wildlife parks close or an hour from the West Coast which is well worth the drive.
All the best,
Jules and Judy Brooks, Brisbane.
This was our first trip to the Scottish Highlands and we all loved it. The house was spotless, kitchen had more than we needed, and every room was warm and VERY comfortable.
See you next year!
